Framed Fisherman Chainstitch

Popular artwork style, chainstitch, involves an embroidery type threading method. Chainstitching can easily follow curved lines in fabric, making it easy to “draw” with the chainstitch thread. This chainstitch features a fisherman with a pipe set amongst seascape with a lighthouse and seagulls in the distance. Minor scratches and chips can be seen around the brown wooden frame of the chainstitch artwork.
