Tramp Art Framed Chainstitch

$295.00

Tramp Art was a popular woodworking style from the late 1800’s to the mid 1900’s. Pieces of wood were notched to create bold, geometric pieces. This artwork style is combined with another notable artwork style called chainstitch, which involves an embroidery type threading method. Chainstitching can easily follow curved lines in fabric, making it easy to “draw” with the chainstitch thread. This chainstitch features a woman set amongst a forest scene picking daises, some of the flowers she has put in her hair. No noticeable No noticeable damage, scratches, or defects can be found on this item.
